A new chapter in student living at Penn State is officially underway! WDG joined Greystar and JLC Infrastructure on University Drive in University Park to celebrate the groundbreaking of Penn State’s new student housing community – bringing 1,500+ new beds across four six-story residential buildings.

Congratulations to Penn State, Greystar and the entire project team on this exciting milestone. We are excited to watch University Drive take shape!

We’re excited to welcome Richard and Austin to the WDG Dallas team!

Richard’s path into architecture began with a childhood love of drawing that grew into a passion for design and problem-solving. With experience across residential, federal, retail, commercial, and multifamily projects, he brings a diverse perspective to the team and a particular passion for multifamily design.

Before building his career in multifamily design, Austin worked on high-end residential projects throughout the Houston and DFW areas. That experience shaped his appreciation for thoughtful design and the details that make a home feel unique, bringing a valuable residential perspective to his work in multifamily.

We’re glad to have Richard and Austin on the team and look forward to all they’ll bring to WDG!

We’re thrilled to share that the Arlington County Board unanimously approved the redevelopment of 1501 Langston Boulevard! The project will transform the existing office site into an 8-story, 88-unit condominium community and introducing a publicly accessible museum honoring the history of the Air & Space Forces Association.

This milestone is the result of an extensive public review and community engagement process, including collaboration with the Site Plan Review Committee, Planning Commissioners, County staff, neighbors, and project stakeholders.

A huge thank you to Taicoon Property Partners and congratulations to the entire project team! We’re incredibly excited to see 1501 Langston Boulevard take this important step forward.

The Springfield CBC Commuter Parking Garage was designed with multi-use space to enhance both transit and social connections for the Fairfax County community. The facility had its debut as an event venue on Saturday hosting Fairfax Connector's Winterfest! Always uplifting to see our efforts paying off for the community.

We are excited to share our design for a 12-story, 256-unit residential development in Rosslyn with Sentinel Real Estate! This project brings nature and urban living together, featuring a dog park, a nature conservation area, and an accessible boardwalk overlook. Stay tuned for updates!

Sentinel Real Estate filed a revised conceptual site plan application this week to replace the 63-unit mid-century Crestmont Apartments with a new residential project.

Our Third Annual Principal Cocktail Contest was a night to remember—full of surprises, shaken and stirred to perfection! The stakes were high as Bob, Eric, Sean, Ingrid, and Doug went head-to-head for the coveted title of Master Mixologist.

Congratulations to our new champion Bob Keane! It’s a reminder that in architecture, it’s not just about building structures—it’s about mixing up something special, too!

We're excited to be working with Landmark Properties to bring 2,079 beds of student housing to the University of Maryland campus! With 601 fully furnished, studio to five-bedroom units, covered garage parking below an an amenity/pool deck, green space, a study lounge and cafe, and more, The Mark College Park will be built on a 4.5-acre site, bridging the Knox Road gap between WDG projects Terrapin Row and Union on Knox.
