Today is our summer intern Danika’s last day! From helping out with drawings to building our Belhaven model, we’re so thankful for all her hard work and are excited to see where her talents take her.

This weeks is our George Washington Hotel in Wi******er, VA

This project went from an abandoned landmark to restored icon. Originally built in 1924, the George Washington Hotel in Wi******er, Virginia, was thoughtfully revitalized by the FILLAT+ team to honor its historic character while creating a modern luxury experience. The grand lobby and ballroom were restored, guest rooms reimagined, and a spa and fine dining restaurant added, thus breathing new life into one of Wi******er's most treasured destinations.

In honor of the first week of summer, this weeks Flashback Friday post is of the Courtyard by Marriott in Ocean City, MD.

This Art Deco-inspired hotel was designed to establish a refreshing level of sophistication to the somewhat honky-tonk seaside town of Ocean City, Maryland. In brushing off the dated notions of oceanic romanticism, this design brings a modern touch to the boardwalk while acknowledging the area’s mainstays, like The Captain’s Table restaurant, which now operates on the hotel’s second floor, off the lobby.

In addition to the guestrooms, the design incorporates the Miramar, a 12-unit condominium, with access to the main hotel’s rooftop indoor-outdoor pool and amenities.

Last week our office was on site checking on the progress of our 601 Indiana project!

It's great to see the drawings come to life and see the hard work of everyone involved take shape. Things are moving along nicely, and we're excited about the progress being made.

Looking forward to sharing more updates as we get closer to the finish line!
