And you might wonder why…
Why would I ever be sad when a client books me again?
Because over time, a project becomes so much more than choosing paint colors, furniture and decor.
You spend time in their home. You learn how they live, what they love, what matters to them, and all those little details that make their home uniquely theirs.
You create together. You make decisions together. You watch a space slowly transform into something that feels like them.
And then suddenly, months have passed. Sometimes even a year. You’ve worked on room after room, and somewhere along the way, you’ve built a relationship, too. 🤍
So yes, I’m incredibly grateful when a client brings me back for another project. It truly means the world to me.
But there’s a bittersweet side to it…
Because one day, we’ll finish the last room. The home will be complete, and there won’t be another project to come back for.
And that’s the part that makes me a little sad.
Until then, I’ll just keep enjoying every room, every project, and every chapter along the way. 🤍
