With all the rain hitting the Kansas City area lately 🌧️🏡 — now’s the time to talk about something many homeowners overlook… your landscaping.

At Bark & Stone, we know your yard isn’t just about curb appeal—it plays a huge role in protecting your home’s foundation.

Proper grading, drainage solutions, and strategic landscaping can help direct water AWAY from your home instead of letting it pool around your foundation. Things like French drains, rock beds, and downspout extensions can make all the difference during heavy rain like we’re seeing right now.

If water is sitting near your foundation, it’s not a matter of if it causes issues—it’s when.

Stay ahead of it, protect your investment, and make your yard work for you, not against you.

Ever notice how erosion works faster than your weekend plans? 😂

One good rain and suddenly your yard is like,
“New feature unlocked: waterfront property.”

If your driveway is slowly disappearing or your yard is trying to slide into the neighbor’s, it might be time to take erosion seriously… before your landscaping packs its bags and leaves first.

Don’t let your property drift away—literally. Give us a call and we’ll keep your ground where it belongs!
