✨ Finished up another one in Marion!

We did the rough-in back in June and recently came back to set the finish for this basement bathroom with TB Custom Builders

We matched everything from the fixtures to the flooring for a seamless transition from the first floor into the basement. 👌🏻

TB Custom did a great job on the entire basement remodel and we were happy to be a part of it! Hope they love the finished product as much as we do! 🔥

🏋️‍♀️ Making room for the gains… and the bathroom breaks! 💪🏻

We recently completed the plumbing rough-in at DCM Fitness in Manchester, adding a new bathroom. And can we just say... This gym is looking AWESOME!

We’re proud to be a small part of getting this new space ready for the Manchester community. Best of luck to DCM Fitness on the opening!!

🚨 WOW… THAT’S SOME CRAZY HIGH PRESSURE! 😳💦

This Cedar Rapids home had a pex fitting blow apart, so we did some investigating to find out what was going on.

We found the homes water pressure was sitting at 95 PSI! 😬

That is almost DOUBLE for a residential plumbing system and can put a LOT of unnecessary stress on your pipes, fittings, fixtures and appliances.

We installed a pressure reducing valve (PRV) to bring that pressure back down to a normal range and help protect the homes plumbing system!

Some jobs require skill.
Some require patience.
Andddd some require Cory to squeeze his big ol’ self into a crawl space that was CLEARLY NOT BUILT FOR HIM. 😂

Today’s adventure took us to Troy Mills, where a broken copper pipe needed some attention. The crawl space was… let’s just say cozy. Cory barely fit, but my guy got in there, made the repair and got the water flowing again. 💪🔧

Big guy. Little space. Big results. 😎

Just another day of doing whatever it takes to get the job done right!

This Cedar Rapids home had a long hot water run, which meant waiting 3–5 minutes for the water to get hot. That’s a LOT of water andddd a LOT of waiting! 🥶

We installed a water recirculation pump with a timer, and now that wait time is down to approximately 5–10 SECONDS! 🔥 Having a timer means that it only runs during key times so it's also energy efficient!

So what does a recirc pump do?

It keeps hot water circulating through the plumbing system, so hot water is available much faster when you turn on the faucet. That means:

🔥 Faster hot water
💧 Less water wasted down the drain
⏱️ No more standing around waiting for the water to heat up!

Another one checked off the list! 🔧🚰

This Marion rental was dealing with a dripping faucet and a leaking basket strainer. A couple of leaks fixed, a fresh new faucet installed, and another job done! 💦🔧

Slowly getting back into the swing of things, one plumbing job at a time. 👶🏼

🧻HP headquarters got hit by homecoming shenanigans here in Lynx country! Super impressed with how quiet teenagers were able to be not waking our 2 dogs, our newborn or anyone else in the house. Even made it past the goats! 😂 10/10. 👏🏼👍🏼

However, highly unimpressed with the lack of dedication, skill, and enthusiasm as you left multiple rolls still completely intact, didn't get all the trees and missed the front yard. Amateurs. 2/10. 💩🫣👎🏻

You're better than this Lynx! We plumbers take our TP seriously! Hope everyone has a safe & fun homecoming week! GO LYNX!!

After a little time soaking up those newborn snuggles, we’re slowly getting back into the swing of things!

First project back: this water heater replacement in Dubuque! The old tank had definitely had enough (an impressive 1991 model!!) and started leaking, so we got it swapped out and got this customer their hot water back! 💦🔥

Don’t worry, the baby snuggles aren’t stopping… we’re just squeezing plumbing in between them. 😉👶🏼🔧
