Great review from Elsa... "Our dishwasher started smoking and quickly turned into a small electrical fire as I was getting our children ready for school. The dishwasher was not running, it was just plugged in and on. When a new dishwasher was installed, my husband could feel electrical current through the top when he was loading it. That same night, I was running a bath for our youngest and I was getting electrically shocked through the water in the faucet.
Sean was then recommended to us from a trusted family friend. He immediately responded to us after hours and moved things around in his schedule so he could come out quickly in our emergency situation. Sean was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable - he spent at least 7 hours consistently working on the outside and inside of our house. Sean was the first person to notice that our water and gas was not grounded, which he then competently fixed. He also saw that our water heater was hooked up to an old circuit, which was arcing behind our electrical panel. He rewired our water heater directly into the panel and removed all the old wiring. Additionally, Sean called and had Eversource come out; they rewired their attachment to our house and removed an unnecessary meter. Sean also followed up with us a few days after the job to make sure everything was running smoothly and answer any follow up questions we might have had.
We are incredibly thankful for Codeworks Electric and we are lucky that our story didn’t end in tragedy with the severity of our issues. Sean did an excellent job - he quickly diagnosed the issue and was proficient and thorough in remedying the situation. He was an effective communicator and very respectable. We also found him to be very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!"
