Hail might be on the horizon again, is your roof ready?

What does hail even do to a roof?

Hail can create dents, cracks, or even splits in shingles, making them more vulnerable to water damage.

Hail can also remove the protective granules from asphalt shingles, leaving the underlying material exposed to the elements and sun damage.

PHEWWW… this heat today is no joke!

Did you know the heat can damage your roof?

As temperatures fluctuate throughout the day, roofing materials expand and contract. This repeated process can cause stress on the roof, leading to cracks and weakening of the structural integrity.

Heat blisters, one of the things we see when inspecting a roof, are trapped moisture under the shingles coming to the surface during hot weather causing blisters to form.
