At CiQ (Confidence in Quality Construction), our name is our promise. To ensure we keep delivering that top-tier quality as we grow- we are excited to announce some internal "blueprints" for a better client experience.

Well, we are expanding our team! We’ve officially added a new member to the CiQ family. This extra set of hands allows us to focus even more on the details that matter to you.

Stumbled upon some old photos of a job I did in 2021! A double walk in shower. Wrapped all of the edges around the window and entry wall by mitering and polishing. It came out well, but took a total of 6 weeks. That’s why we emphasize in our mission that quality takes time. Time to prep, and plan a cohesive schedule where you’re informed every step of the way. Time to do it once, and do it right. We don’t love doing re-work when previous installers failed to provide quality oversight. There is already a bitter taste from past experience and knowing you’ve lost part of your confidence. But it’s better knowing any issues from prior failed installations can be properly addressed with my hands and eyes on it and our commitment to lasting quality. Let’s take the time, together, to build your dream project- and keep you confident every step of the way. 💪

Ill be clear. Showers are one of my favorite activities. I can decompress, clean, meditate- it’s relaxing and makes me feel like I’ve gotten the chance to slow down a little in such a busy world. So I hope when you use your custom showers from us for the next couple decades, each time feels like stepping into an area of calm. 😌 Happy Sunday!

This shower was previously installed incorrectly. The tiles had no bond whatsoever, which led to one falling and slicing my hand open upon inspection. Luckily after a few stitches, some demo, and a couple weeks of hustle- their original dream was finally brought to life. With being well rounded and informed, not only can we identify issues with quality control- but we can tie in our other skills to make sure your project is seamless from start to finish. Flooring, drywall, paint, fixtures, and even a thorough cleaning after the job is complete. Each tile was installed with care and attention- and outside of the shower anything that needed to be finished was taken care of so that after a tub spout and some cure time this bathroom was ready to be ENJOYED!

After over a decade in the remodeling, remediation, and finish trades, I’ve officially started my own company — CiQ LLC (Confidence in Quality Construction).

Things are still taking shape, but the mission is already clear: take the time to do it right. Every design, every detail, every installation — built with care, built to last.

I would like to personally thank those who have invested in me and helped me grow, while looking forward to collaberating with some of Hampton Roads’ finest tradesman and contractors; providing exceptional quality and attention to detail through custom designs and attentive care.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some photos from past projects, along with updates as new work begins. The page may be quiet for now, but it won’t stay that way for long. Thanks for following along as CiQ grows — one step, one build, one day at a time.
