Just 48hrs later and the goats are in clean up mode. Most of the foliage is gone and they will continue to forage what is left for another 24hrs.

Finishing up the season with this blackberry patch. Helping homeowners to regain access and control of their properties is something we love to do. Check back to see the progress they make in a short time!

(WARNING! Trees were harmed in the making of this post; fortunately, the tree was already dead/dying and was scheduled to be removed prior to goats dealing the killing blow)

Did you know that flat, dark b**r can help jump start the goat’s digestive process?
This time of year I make sure to monitor the goats weight and overall health. They’ve been working since late March. Now the vegetation is pulling its nutrients down into the roots in preparation for winter. Now is the time where a grazing herd may need an extra bit of hay, grain, or even a little b**r to help them maintain their weight on the job. As long as the weather holds fairly mild, the goats will keep working. I’ll just be working to make sure everyone stays healthy and fit!
