We recently honored Donna Price with a commemorative butterfly and balloon release ceremony. Several family members, friends, and garden club attendees gathered to share stories about her devotion, love for family and God, and her exceptional creativity. She was deeply cherished by many. Donna had raised butterflies several years ago for our garden club's booth at the fair, which was one of the most memorable moments for us as a club. The butterflies were sent to us from Florida, and then slowly awakened and released at just the right time. We can imagine the joy it brought her, just as it did for us. We will forever miss our dear friend.

We and the Kenton Garden Club will share our collective knowledge about how to register, enter, and display your Hardin County Fair flower show entries at our education night on Tuesday, July 14, 7 p.m., at the arts and crafts building at the fairgrounds. No need to register and the event is free.

Reminder that the butterfly and balloon release in memory of Donna Price will be today at 11:30 a.m. at the Dunkirk Cemetery. Pastor Trent Boedicker will be the speaker. All are welcome.

We were a small crew today but we had so much fun! Stopped into Jeffers Greenhouse in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Family business owned for over 100 years and they grow 95% of their own flower from start to finish. Then off to Wolfs Berries and Blooms. Not our first time here and we love it. We filled the cars and had a nice lunch at SNYDERS Pizza! Yum.
