We had the cutest little visitor into the office! Little Jack was pretty happy being surrounded by house plans and putting on his new JK swag! He fit right in ❤️

TWENTY years ago, Justin (owner of JK) was 21 years old (see throwback pic, below) and had been itching to start his own business for several years. He took the leap in May of 2005 and has never looked back. From a one-man-do-it-all-band back then to an all-star team today, we’ve come a long way. With over 350 projects under our belts over the years, we sure have a lot to be thankful for; a 5-star team, fun clients, and a beautiful community. Cheers to TWENTY years!! 🥳 Looking forward to many more.

What started out as a dream, turned into plans, and now is taking up its own real space! New shop comin’ up!

Sometimes keeping things simple makes the biggest impact. All this deck needed was a thin coat of oil to obtain that beautiful, rich color. And that view! Not bad! This addition is about wrapped up and ready for the homeowners to start enjoying. We added a full studio apartment for this family above their existing garage.

Just about to wrap up this fun project! We added extra space for this family and remodeled some existing areas while we were at it. Here’s a glimpse of the large entertainment room addition including an “every kiddo’s dream” play loft! Stay tuned for some pretty neat custom metal fabrications and copper accents with this home that we will share soon!

How it started ➡️ how it’s going
A previous client called us up ready for their next project with us, a new shop build. We started with the design phase and are currently in the build phase; should be finished up by spring time. There’s a second story metal deck needed and the project this week was getting it welded up and over to the job site. 💪

We take gingerbread building pretty seriously around here. Icing just doesn’t have the structural support JK was looking for this year, so caulking it is 😆 They’re pretty bomb-proof at this point! It does hinder the snack-ability of the gingerbread house though, these are officially labeled as “look but don’t eat!” 🤣 Merry Christmas from all of us at JK Construction 🎄

People often assume that because it’s wintertime in Colorado, we shut things down and open back up when the snow is gone. In reality, we live in an area that experiences pretty mild winters and we are able to continue construction year round. There are a few instances, especially with foundation digging, that can be trickier when it’s cold, but we keep on a-truckin’ every chance we get! Just like this metal roof install- getting it done even with some snow flying here and there. Can’t beat those Western Colorado office views either 🏔️
