Noah Treat, a proud Sherwood native of 35 years, was immersed in the world of residential construction from an early age. At just 9 years old, he became his dad's dependable sidekick, learning the trade firsthand as a "cheap labor" assistant while his father, a skilled sheetrock finisher, taught him the ropes. In 2007, Noah leveraged his childhood experience in construction to launch his own company, Noah Treat Construction (NTC). However, no sooner then he poured the foundation for his first spec home, the market crashed. He couldn’t have picked a more challenging time to take the leap into residential construction. In 2011, Noah pivoted to the oil and gas industry, working across North Dakota, Ohio, and Texas. For several years, he balanced two demanding worlds—spending two weeks on oil rigs and the other two weeks back home building spec houses. After nearly a decade, he decided to leave the oil and gas industry behind for good. In 2020, Noah made the bold decision to fully commit to residential construction—and he hasn’t looked back since. Noah Treat Construction is powered by a dedicated team of three exceptional employees: Eric, the field superintendent; Danielle, the administrative assistant; and Abby, the design coordinator. Together, they’ve helped the company thrive in the custom home building market, specializing in homes ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet. The business’s success has been recently recognized with a feature in the February 2025 issue of AY Magazine. Noah has been married to his high school sweetheart, Monica, for 21 years. They have four dogs—Murphy, George, Tootie, and Walker—and one cat, Molly. They are currently building their dream home in the heart of Sherwood and plan to move in by August 2025.
