Project name: JMB Century City Center

DMA is working with this longtime client to shape a new office development in Century City that appeals to community stakeholders and is uniquely positioned in the market. Century City Center is a 37-story office tower designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification—the highest possible level—for its core and shell.

Century City Center will be the first LEED Platinum High-rise office building in Los Angeles, and just the eighth in the nation. Supporting a complex entitlement process, we’ve helped define a compelling concept, featuring innovative, high-performance technologies, and to validate the ability to deliver on projected budgets and schedules. Century City Center includes ground-level retail, an underground connection to an on-site transit station, and a 1,500-car parking deck topped with a two-acre garden.

DMA principals supported the client’s earlier developments in Century City, including MGM Tower (now Constellation Place) and the SunAmerica high rise.

Project name: Private Residence
Location: Sandy, UT

Complex form of the private residence required flexible and easy to manufacture cladding system.
Smal format of the terra-cotta panels ( 1’ x 3’ ) in connection with metal siding ( Vesta Steel HD Cedar ) provided this flexibility. This is the first and only project in Utah using K20 Agrob-Buchtal terra-cotta panel system.

The new building on Rötestraße/Emil-Münz-Straße is the first building block in the overall real estate concept. The Rems-Murr district and its district construction company are building a new administration building on the site of the former Ludwig Schlaich Academy
The building was officially inaugurated in May 2023. Since June 2023, the health and order department, with the immigration office, the public order office and the health department, have started operations in the new building.

Project name: San Diego International Airport
Location: San Diego, CA
Architect: Gensler
Material: 1/8” aluminum
System: Custom designed columns

The 1.2 million square foot T1 will replace the existing Terminal 1, which was built in 1967. It will feature up to 30 gates, of which 19 are scheduled to be opened in July 2025 and the remaining in early 2027.
The new terminal will have more seating for passengers in the gate area, and a range of food and beverage, gifts, and retail concessions. It will be equipped with more security checkpoint lanes compared to the existing terminal.
The airport’s roadways will be improved to enhance the movement of cars, buses, bikes, and pedestrians to and from the airport and reduce congestion on Harbor Drive. Further, a new parking plaza will be built for ground transportation services.

UnityPoint Health plans to bring a variety of medical services to the metro’s suburbs when it opens a new multi-specialty clinic in Waukee in 2024.
The 75,000-square-foot-clinic, named the UnityPoint Health-Waukee Medical Park, will be the sixth UnityPoint Clinic in Waukee, further expanding the medical provider’s reach in the growing suburb. The new location will be on the southeast corner of Grand Prairie Parkway and Southeast Tallgrass Lane.
“We have been in Waukee since the beginning and are growing to meet their healthcare needs with both primary and specialty care services,” UnityPoint Health President and CEO David Stark said in a news release.

Project name: New U.S. Embassy

The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi will provide a secure, functional, sustainable, and resilient platform for U.S. diplomacy in India. On the existing 28-acre site in New Delhi’s diplomatic enclave and next to the Edward Durrell Stone original Chancery building, the multi-building campus will provide a new Chancery and office annex, staff residences, and support facilities.
Phase I includes the new buildings and a resilient landscape. Phase II will include a renovation of the historic Stone Chancery that is listed on the Secretary’s Register of Culturally
Significant Properties.
The construction contract was awarded to B.L. Harbert International of Birmingham, Alabama and completion is anticipated in 2027. Weiss/Manfredi of New York, New York is the architect, building upon their historic studies work to bridge the historic and modern buildings to create a holistic new campus. An estimated $200 million will be invested in the local economy, and the project is estimated to employ 800 Indian workers at the peak of construction activities.
