Someone already "repaired" this crack. The wall had other plans.

On a recent inspection in Goodrich, our technician found a foundation crack that had been patched before. No stitching, no injection ports, no polyurethane. Just a coat of patch over the surface. The crack kept moving behind it, and now the old repair peels off by hand.

It was not the only problem in this basement:

🛑A horizontal crack starting under the window. Horizontal cracks are a different story from vertical ones: they usually mean saturated soil is pushing on the wall, so they need a professional look, not a patch.

🛑 Another crack tucked up behind the water softener and pressure tank, in the kind of spot most homeowners never check.

🦸Then the StayDry repair, for comparison: the crack is sealed, stitched across its length, and injected with expanding polyurethane through ports so the void is filled all the way through the wall, not just at the surface.
