Travel isn’t scary. New watercolor friends aren’t scary. What’s scary is wishing you had gone on that watercolor retreat and didn’t😭

In all seriousness.

Comment “Greece” and let’s goooooo!!

People aren’t scary, travel isn’t scary… Wishing you’d just taken the leap and gone on the watercolor retreat but didn’t. That’s scary.

But in all seriousness.

Comment “Greece” and I’ll send ya more info!

A few weeks ago Lara Call Gastinger introduced me to the concept of perpetual journaling during the Wild Wonder Foundation’s Nature Journaling Conference.

I was enchanted and immediately began a Hoya perpetual sketchbook. Hoyas are an epiphytic species that I’ve been collecting for just over 3 years… and so the idea of sketching a detail from the collection once a week on a page in a sketchbook and then only returning to that page the following year with updates, felt so romantic and doable at the same time.

Want to start your own? Comment the word “document” and I’ll send you a bit about my process and of course a link to Lara’s book!

This week I’m learning from an incredible lineup of journaling artists at the Wild Wonder Foundation’s nature journaling conference!!

It was an easy decision to choose an accordion style watercolor sketchbook to use all week. I adore this style because it inspires a continuity between the pages :)

Comment “z” and I’ll send you a link to my favorites!

We spent a year designing this.

12 days. Brand-new art supplies you won’t find anywhere else. Handmade studio pieces tucked behind every “window”.
Yes it’s an advent calander but our container isn’t your typical paper-wasting vessel, it’s way more useful than that!

This isn’t a mass-produced calendar — it’s a small batch, made by hand, for people who love making and experiencing beautiful things.

Presale is open now. Link in bio. 🎨
