We’re sharing this post because we have serious concerns about the page for “Rudolph Trailers Fulton.”

We traveled to the address presented for this business to inspect an RV for a customer. There were no RVs at that location, and we could not verify the inventory advertised on its page. Because of what we found firsthand, we were able to warn another remote buyer before they committed more time or money.

We reported the page to Facebook on September 14. Facebook later told us (September 20) it did not violate Community Standards. That response is difficult to reconcile with Meta’s stated authenticity standard, which says it does not want people using its services “to misrepresent who they are or what they’re doing.”

If you’re considering an RV advertised by this page, independently verify the seller, the vehicle, and its location before sending any money.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend is often called the unofficial start of RV season campgrounds are filling up, families are hitting the road, and adventure season is officially underway.

For many RVs, this may also be the first trip since being parked after Labor Day last year. Before heading out, take a few extra minutes to make sure your tires are road ready. Tires can age and deteriorate even while sitting in storage.

A few things to check before your trip:
🔹 Inspect sidewalls for cracks or signs of dry rot
🔹 Check tire pressure when tires are cold
🔹 Look for uneven wear or bulges
🔹 Verify tire age, even tires with good tread can become unsafe over time
🔹 Don’t forget to inspect the spare tire too

A tire failure on an RV can cause significant damage and quickly ruin a holiday weekend. A little preventative maintenance now can help keep your travels safe and stress free.

Making a checklist is one way I try to stay organized before we hit the road. I say try because somehow I still forget something every now and the.
A few things that usually make it onto our list:

✔️ Doggy blankets & toys
✔️ Laptops, chargers & accessories
✔️ Toiletries
✔️ Running gear (always looking for new trails to explore!) 🏃‍♀️

A lot of RV buyers assume that once they take ownership, their only option for repairs is going back to the dealer they bought it from.
That’s not really how it works.

In reality, you usually have three layers of support available after purchase:

1. Manufacturer Warranty
Most major components (appliances, frames, slides, and electrical systems) are covered directly by the manufacturer for a set period. That means you’re not always dependent on the dealership for answers or approval.

2. Component Manufacturers
This is the part most people don’t realize. Your RV is made up of dozens of individual systems: water heaters, refrigerators, converters, awnings, etc.

In many cases, those companies will talk directly to you about troubleshooting or warranty replacement.

I recently ran into this myself after buying our new travel trailer. A week in, we had a component failure. Instead of going through a long back-and-forth, I contacted the part manufacturer directly and quickly got clarity and next steps.

3. Local RV Service Providers
You are not locked into the selling dealer for repairs. Many certified mobile techs and independent shops can perform warranty-authorized work depending on the manufacturer.

The takeaway is this:

Owning an RV isn’t a “one door” system where everything flows back through the dealer you bought from.

It’s more like a network; knowing and understanding how to navigate that network can save you time, frustration, and a lot of unnecessary stress.

We see a lot of frustration in inspections that actually comes from misunderstanding this system, not from the RV itself.
The more you understand how support actually works, the more confident you are after the purchase, not just before it.

A customer asked me something the other day that made me stop for a second:

“Am I married to this RV dealer now?”

It was said half jokingly… but I knew exactly what they meant.

What they were really asking was:

“Am I stuck with this decision, this dealer, and whatever happens next?”

And honestly, a lot of RV buyers have felt that way at some point.
The moment you sign the paperwork, it can start to feel like you’ve entered a long-term relationship you didn’t fully interview for.

But here’s the truth:
You’re not married to the dealer.
You’re not locked into silence.
And you still have options when things don’t feel right.

This is one of the reasons we do independent inspections before purchase, not after. It’s not about calling anyone out. It’s about making sure you don’t end up in a situation where you’re guessing instead of knowing.
