Ladies and gentlemen, your air handler lives HERE. In the attic. Where it is currently 140 degrees. In Alabama.

Our tech climbed up there with a meter, a can of evap foam, and one bottle of water like a man going to war, and stayed until it was fixed. That water bottle is not a prop. That water bottle is a life raft.

So the next time your AC is running fine and you don't think about it once — somebody was up there in a plywood sauna making sure of it. 🫡

Heat-related illness happens fast especially for the elderly, young children, and pets.

Here's how to protect your home and family:
→ Keep your home at or below 78°F during peak heat hours (2pm–6pm)
→ Never block your return air vents, airflow restrictions are the #1 cause of cooling problems
→ Check on elderly neighbors, a working AC is a lifesaving tool, not a luxury
→ Keep blinds and curtains closed on sun-facing windows
If your system can't maintain a safe temperature, call. That's a priority call.

Say hello to an air handler drain pan that gave up on life.

That soup is algae, dust, and condensate that had nowhere to go. It sits there quietly growing a personality until the drain line clogs, and then the water stops going down and starts going into your ceiling. Nobody budgets for drywall repair.

The good news is this takes about ten minutes to prevent and a whole lot longer to fix. Routine maintenance clears the line, flushes the pan, and keeps the swamp out of your house.
