The easiest HVAC problem to prevent? A clogged AC drain line.

There are a couple of things you can do yourself to help prevent one:

🔹 Check your drain line periodically for standing water or visible buildup

🔹 Keep the area around your indoor unit clean and free of dust and debris

🔹 Make sure your AC filter is changed regularly

🔹 If your system allows it, periodically treating the condensate drain with an HVAC-approved algaecide can keep the line flowing and prevent slimy clogs.

A clogged drain line can eventually cause water leaks, ceiling damage, or even shut your AC off when you need it most.

A few minutes of prevention can save you a whole lot of frustration later!
