Meet Cali-Cat! This gorgeous girl found herself and her three newborn kittens at Johnson County Animal Shelter back in December. We pulled them and placed them directly in a foster home. This little family is doing FABULOUS- all of her babies have been spayed or neutered and found homes of their own. Now it’s Mama’s turn to find a home. Cali is approximately 2 years and an all around a delightful cat! She is super friendly and knows no stranger. She is completely vetted, 100% litter box trained, and great with other animals like dogs and cats. UPDATE: Cooper did well with surgery and is in recovery now! Total bill was just over $1600. Thank you for supporting today help save this kitty!

The vet staff at Pet Wellness reached out today to see if we could help an owner whose cat had a urinary blockage, but had tapped out on available funds needed for surgery. The team there really wanted to save this boy. Dr.Venesky asked what it would look like, if we would take the cat in for rescue, and I told her that we would much rather he go home with dad. 💛 We don’t need anymore luxurious cats, we have plenty! 😅

To save his life, our cost will be right about $1200. Donate if you’re able? If you are also tapped out with all the supports you have already given lately, give us a like, or love, share to reach someone who may be able to support - and leave him a get well soon comment. That will feed the algorithm to other helping hands so you aren’t spread too thin for all the ways you all help out here.

We are grateful. We already said yes, but making the cost back up is how we are able to help another.
