🇺🇸 Today is Memorial Day, a day that belongs to the fallen.

Not all holidays are the same. Today is not a celebration of service, it is a day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives wearing the uniform of the United States. They did not come home. Their families carry that weight every single day, and today we stop to honor that sacrifice.

To every Gold Star family, in Wise County, across North Texas, and across this country, we see you today. We are grateful.

Because of men and women like those we remember today, the rest of us get to live, work, and build something. That is not lost on us.

We are also grateful for the people in our own lives who stepped up and served, brothers, family, and friends who were willing to make that same sacrifice:
