You’ve seen it but might not know what it is. That Sky blue on porch ceilings is called haint. There are two old tales about it. First is a southern culture tale that it keeps wandering spirits from entering your home. The second is of Northern origin. It keeps birds from nesting in the eaves because they thinks it’s open sky. Either way we love a fresh coat of haint!
