These Pavers had been well loved with years of pool days and the Florida sun fading the color away. The customer wanted to bring back some color into their pool deck, and we had the answer for them!

This Deck was Deep cleaned, re-sanded, tinted for the restoration pop✨ and sealed for long-lasting protection.

Clean Slate Pressure Washing knocked it out of the park on this pool deck!

Our customer was weighing there options on remodeling the pool deck to match the pool remodel. Between placing pavers and the cool deck, they decided on the cool deck for the lower maintenance needed after install.

Pavers over concrete have the tendency to get a white haze from trapped water between the two layers of concrete( a fixable problem but an annoyance the customer didn’t want.

We stripped the old paint off this deck to insure proper adhesion for a specialized coating called Color Seal from Innovative Concrete Technology. Designed with colors that naturally resist UV to make this pool deck not hot at ALL. This deck will be about 10°-25° degree cooler than bare concrete. Even with dark pigments it can still be cooler than bare concrete.

After stripping, we prepped the deck by filling any cracks and making sure the surface would look uniform once completed.

Then we apply the coating in two coats, first one thinned to ensure even coating in the textured surface and proper bonding to the deck. And second a coat applied straight to bring the durability this coating provides.

🚨 What Are Those Black Dots on Your House? It Might Be Artillery Fungus

Ever notice tiny black dots stuck to your siding, soffits, or fence that won’t wash off easily? Those may be caused by artillery fungus.

Artillery fungus grows in mulch and damp organic material, and when conditions are right it actually shoots sticky black spores up to 15 feet through the air towards the light. These spores attach to nearby surfaces like:

• Concrete

Once they stick, they can be very difficult to remove and sometimes require special cleaning methods.
