Visited Maki Building Centers the other day to pick up a custom gate. Neat to see some things made right here in Massachusetts rather than come off a ship from China. We use SWS railings on a lot of our decks and their windows have been working flawlessly in my own house since 2016. Call us today to get some of this sweet local product in your house!

Earlier this year these Holden homeowners came back from a short vacation to find water an inch deep from a burst pipe in their laundry room. If it's wet, it's gotta go, so we replaced the entire 1st floor of this house. We replaced the lower 1/2 of the walls, all the floors, replaced the entire powder room and the entire kitchen! Amazing what some water can set in motion! We're so glad we could help this homeowner get their house back into ship shape and turn a disaster into a positive outcome!

We are a new residential contracting company working throughout central Massachusetts currently looking to fill the full-time position of Carpenter. This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years, related experience. The candidate will work side by side with Lead Carpenter and/or 1 helper. We work both inside and outside year-round. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

· Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications

· Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project

· Clearly communicate with customers about job spec’s and change orders.

· Must possess general knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, how they correlate to full remodeling jobs and the ability to coordinate sub-contractors.

· Should be able to frame decks, additions, partition walls, retrofit structural beams and staircases by using raw materials.

· Experience installing cabinetry and crown molding.

· Occasionally install or repair small amounts of flooring, tile, roofing, siding, drywall etc.

· Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.

· Candidate must be in good physical condition, with good stamina and dexterity.

· Must possess own reliable transportation.

· Must possess own hand tools, tool belt, some small power tools.

· MA CSL a plus.
