Water damage on hardwood floors? A full tear-out isn't always the answer.

Our drying-in-place process starts with moisture meter readings to see how deep the water traveled into the wood and subfloor. Then we lay down drying mats right over the affected boards, pulling moisture up and out while air movers and dehumidifiers keep the room's humidity in check. We track moisture levels daily and adjust the mats as different sections dry, since wood almost never dries evenly.

The goal is to save your original hardwood instead of ripping it out. The sooner drying starts after a leak or water intrusion, the better the odds.
