Is this work or play? Um… Yes!

We replaced this roof 6 months ago and now it has a massive pine tree through it. But everything has been documented thoroughly and why not catch a bass while waiting on the tree crew and the adjuster 😁.

Had fun knocking this job out last week. A long time customer wanted metal on his personal house. Three obstacles we had to navigate:

1. Metal on a low slope
2. And old stone chimney that couldn’t be removed without interior interference
3. City of ATL permitting

Framing up the low slope to a 4/12 fixed 1. And 2. And 3. Was fixed simply by playing the permit game and following it up with a roof built to spec. Not hard at all!

Always good to get feedback like this from your customers. So happy for this guy to be done fighting with his insurance. Now he has an awesome roof. No more poorly installed 3 tabs flying off after every 30 mph wind gust.

Little backwards to have a better view on the deck than the roof.

Much respect to the guys who can scale a pine tree. Those are the real climbers.

This is one of the first things I learned 10 years ago when I got in this industry. Yes the customer must be prepared that they will find nails after the job is completed. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t do everything I can to leave a job site as clean as possible.

It took a total of 40-80lb bags of concrete for these 4 footers.
