Sometimes doing the right thing costs you business. We’re okay with that.

We recently identified a potential carbon monoxide and fire hazard in a rental property. After notifying the property owner twice without resolution, we made sure the three women living in that home knew about the concern.

It wasn’t appreciated.

But PKC will never stay silent about someone’s safety to protect a business relationship.

We are stewards of homes—and the people inside them matter most.

The termites had a deck. That was adorable.

🔨 PKC Services: Knock down the neighborhood.
🚛 Big Boy Southern Haul & Fence: Remove all their belongings.
🐜 Dang Pest Control: Handle anyone who refuses to vacate.

This termite-riddled wrap-around deck came DOWN this weekend, and now Dang Pest Control gets to explain to the remaining residents that the HOA has been dissolved.

Three local businesses. One coordinated eviction.

SQUATCH HAS VACATED THE PREMISES.

The tools are packed.
The project is finished.
And Bigfoot has officially been pulled from the yard.

Another project in the books. Now it’s time for Squatch to move along. Keep an eye out. He may be coming to a yard near you.

You start with an idea. Then there’s dirt, lumber, measurements, second guesses, problem solving and a whole lot of “okay…Tracy, how do you see it?”

And eventually, you stand back and realize the thing that only existed in your head is right there in front of you.

David builds it. I dream up things that occasionally make his life more difficult. 😂 And somehow, together, we get to create spaces like this.

This one felt GOOD.

We don’t typically work outside. 😂

We’re more of a “give us your ugly bathroom and nobody gets hurt” kind of crew.

But every now and then, PKC ventures into the great outdoors—and when we do, we head to All Natural Stone & Grass.

Because apparently my job is to stand in the Texas heat with a handful of rocks like I’m inspecting tiny gemstones while David waits patiently for me to declare which gravel has the right vibe. 😂
