A few things we helped customers with this week:

-Helped a customer avoid a $25,000 foundation repair quote by tracing the leak to a kitchen drain instead of sprinkler runoff

-Repaired damaged pipes, cut wires, and missing lines after previous construction damage

-Repaired a sediment-damaged system and helped the customer find cost-effective ways to prevent future issues

-Solved a “broken pipe” issue that was actually runoff and overspray problems

Does your sprinkler system need a filter on it? Probably.

Today we’re helping a customer in Kimberly replace nearly 3/4 of their sprinkler heads and nozzles because dirt and debris clogged and damaged the system over time.

We also installed a filter to help prevent the problem from happening again.

If your sprinkler heads keep clogging, sticking, or spraying unevenly, the issue may not be the heads themselves — it could be what’s flowing through the pipes.

Did you know we also offer lawn maintenance and yard care?

We’re aerating several yards in the Twin Falls and Kimberly area today.

Aeration helps your lawn breathe by reducing soil compaction so water and nutrients can reach the roots.

Spring is one of the best times to do it.

Today I’m replacing a bunch of sprinkler heads where every nozzle was the exact same size. Sounds fine, but it actually causes a lot of problems when no thought is put into a system.

Each sprinkler head covers a different amount of area. If every head has the same nozzle, some areas get way too much water while others barely get enough.

That’s how you end up with random swampy spots, dry patches, runoff, and higher water bills.

A properly designed system matches the nozzle to the area it’s watering.

Stay tuned — I’ll dive deeper into how this works and show why “close enough” irrigation setups usually aren’t actually close enough.

We’ve been busy this week helping people track down some frustrating sprinkler problems:

✅ A head that wouldn’t stop leaking — even after being replaced several times.
(Plot twist: the head wasn’t actually the problem.)

✅ A system that wouldn’t pressurize.

âś… A customer with a sky-high water bill caused by a timer setting issue.

A lot of irrigation problems aren’t as obvious as they seem, and throwing parts at them can get expensive fast. We’re happy to help figure out what’s actually going on and get your system working the way it should.

If your sprinklers are acting weird, leaking, losing pressure, or just not covering properly, send us a message. We’d love to help.

We’ve heard almost the exact same thing from a dozen people since opening:

“Everyone wants to install sprinkler systems, but no one wants to fix them. We’re so glad you’re doing this.”

“I can’t get anyone to repair my system.”

So… here we are.

We’re really happy to be filling that gap here in the Magic Valley. If you’ve got leaks, coverage issues, or a system that just isn’t working the way it should, reach out. We’re happy to come take a look.

Just a quick heads-up — we’ve got a couple nights coming up where temps are expected to dip below freezing. If your sprinklers are already up and running for the season, it’s worth taking a minute to protect your backflow.

No need to overthink it — even a blanket or a thick towel thrown over it can make a difference. That little bit of insulation can help prevent freezing and save you from dealing with cracks (and a repair bill) later.

If you’re still going out and adjusting your sprinkler timer all the time… there’s an easier way.

You can control everything right from your phone—at work, on vacation, or just sitting on the couch. It also keeps an eye on the weather and adjusts automatically, so you’re not watering when you don’t need to.

It also cuts down your water bill and takes one more thing off your plate.

Honestly, it’s just a simple upgrade that makes life easier.

(Throwback song for those of us also still living in 2005 with those trusty timers ✌🏼)
