This was a rewarding project for us and we are always proud to be a part of new things for education in our community.

Schools today are always changing. There are new classes and opportunities given to students every year, maximizing each student’s potential and futures. The Tuscaloosa County School System introduced one of these new opportunities this year with the TCSS K-12 Agriscience Farm, a seventy-plus acre plot of land being used to teach students about the many aspects of agriscience.

The agriscience farm was first proposed back in July of 2023, where a presentation was made to members of the community. John Cameron and Neale Hargle of the Tuscaloosa County Cooperative Extension Office led the presentation, explaining the aspects of the farm and the need for interest in agriscience. The need is there, with over 580,295 jobs in agriculture, forestry, and related industries in the State of Alabama, marking an extensive economic impact. Another massive statistic is the state brings in $70 billion in the industry.

The presentation proved successful, as the county board approved the farm, and this past school year, students have begun to work with classes on the property. Agriscience students from Tuscaloosa County High, Northside High, and Sipsey High, all coming to the TCHS Annex Building, bus to the farm each period of the school day. Classes come out and do daily task on the farm, located off Finnel Road, in Northern Tuscaloosa County.

First proposed by Gov. Ivey in 2023, the Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences has officially welcomed its first students, making history and becoming the state's newest residential specialty high school.

When we say that we "Go Beyond the Building", this is what we mean. Construction isn't just about bricks, concrete and roofing. It's about the end user.

These guys are so pumped about their new locker room and it makes us proud to have been the General Contractor to have built it.

Thank you to all of our sub contractors and suppliers that worked on this project alongside us. Thank you to PH&J Architects, Larry Speaks & Associates, Blackburn & Associates, Zgouvas, Eiring, & Associates, and Gunn & Associates for the design and engineering on this project.

A huge thank you to the University of West Alabama for being a fantastic owner to work with and for making this dream a reality for these talented athletes!
