Tuscaloosa Renovations and Home Repair is changing direction. 39 years of construction work, taking on complete houses and doing big jobs has taken its toll on me, my body has reached its limit. I have always been very meticulous and thorough, never taking short cuts or doing shabby work. I have always done jobs as if they were on my own house. You can go to the jobs I did 30, 35 years ago and they still look fantastic. I am a craftsman through and through and there is not a neighborhood in this county that I haven't left my mark on.
When I named this company I added Home Repair to the name, knowing that the day would come where I could no longer get the big jobs finished in the quality that I demand and in a timely manner. Well that day is here. Nevertheless I will continue to serve homeowners countrywide as I now will pivot and be the best handyman in Tuscaloosa County.. Don't pay these astronomical prices that these handyman companies are charging. I will do better work at more affordable prices. We are finishing up another new build for Ezell Custom Homes. We installed the R panel to the exterior walls, put v groove wood in all of the ceilings, wrapped the beams with cedar planks, installed cedar posts, and built a screened in porch to where the homeowners can remove the screens in the event they need or would want to have the open space. There was a bunch of work put into this house and I wish the Sentells the best of luck and many happy days in their new home!

We recently completed an entire renovation of exterior of this beautiful home just south of Newbern, Alabama for Mr & Mrs Watson of B & J Catfish Farms. This renovation was the result of hurricane damage which required that we strip all the siding, soffit, fascia, and windows trim capping from the home . In turn we installed new vinyl siding & soffit, custom fascia and window trim coverings, and Mr. & Mrs. Watson had us install vinyl soffit to all the porch ceilings and cover all of their posts with custom made aluminum coverings. This project was quite complex and took several weeks. In the end they got themselves a brand new exterior that is maintenance free, with material that is warranted for life, and a piece of mind knowing the exterior of their home will remain beautiful for many years to come. I, personally, enjoyed working for Byron and Jean, as they are really good people and treated us very well. Last but not least I would like to say thank you to the Watsons and I hope you love the new look of your home!

We have just recently completed a very nice looking remodel. The first story and main gable ends of this house were built with logs. Once the builders reached the second floor they converted to a log siding. This house sits atop a hill overlooking a valley on the south and west sides. The sun really took a toll on the log siding as the homeowner was having to stain way too often. Those days are over! We installed a vinyl siding that has the look of logs as used in a log cabin. We removed the log shaped wood siding and installed the Timbermill Log Cabin Style Vinyl, which comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, to the chimney, all the dormers, the poolhouse, and a room above their parking are similar to a mother in law apartment. Thank you very much for liking my Company page. My apologizes for not being the best steward of this page as much more of my time and efforts are devoted to the quality of the work, which seems to be more a rare commodity these days. I consider myself and those who work for me to be true Craftsmen. I hold myself and my guys to a standard. That standard is treating the homes that we put through the tuscreno beautification process just as we treat our own homes. This job is a unique project ss this house is truly a log cabin style home on the main floor, it is built out of logs. The second floor, the room above the parking area, and the pool house have the exterior walls covered a wood siding. This home was built overlooking a valley, as such the sun has full access to the rear wall as well as the west elevetion. This has the effect of pulling the stain right out of the log siding and has caused the owner great trouble, and money trying to keep color onp8l the walls. We at Tuscaloosa Renovations, many thanks to Home Improvement Services as they added a gable to the rear of the house and referred us to the owner to handle the exterior beautification, are removing the wood siding and installing the Timber Mill Log Cabin style vinyl siding, which has the same look but none of the fading a drying out issues that the previous siding. We are changing the pool house, th chimney, the 5 bump outs or dormers if you prefer, and the room above the parking area. This upgrade in the exterior of this home will tske care of the issues the owners were experiencing year after year with the constant fading and drying the wood siding had been experiencing. Now these walls are covered with product that is maintainence free product that is also guaranteed not to crack chip, peel, ot fade, also backed by Tuscaloosa Renovations & Home Repair LLC and our industry leading 6 year warranty. It has been a hot summer but we have been busy as bees. Here is another beautiful home built by Ezell Custom Homes of Tuscaloosa with an exterior provided by Tuscaloosa Renovations. This home now has an exterior that is guaranteed to provide years of beauty and protection with the sum amount of maintenance being a pressure wash from time to time.
We are within days of having this one completed. The guys have installed a Royal Crest Haven double 7" siding with built in insulation to the walls, a vinyl board and batten style panel to the gables, 4" vinyl window trim, vinyl soffit to the overhang and ceilings, custom made aluminium fascia board wrappings, and covering the columns with fiber cement 1× 8.
