Isn't it funny that Eddie's 'Rude' guitar has an headstock so similar to the Peavey EVH Wolfgang one before the scoop?

Just for reference, the 'Rude' guitar was one of two ‘Drop D’ backup guitars used on Van Halen's 1981 tour, the other of which being the 'Circles' (also known as ‘Unchained’) guitar.

Both of these guitars were 2' thick mahogany bodies made by Lynn Ellsworth.
The term ‘Rude’, which is painted in the neck pocket, is a reference to Ed’s childhood friend and then guitar tech, .

Two Peavey EVH Wolfgang prototypes built by Jim DeCola.

Before production started, there wouldn’t be serial numbers if they were prototypes, with the exception of an inked-on serial number which was used on the guitars built and selected for the first NAMM, in 1996.
These numbers were random to the EVH sequence because they were pre-production.

In these two specific cases:
1) the amber has a matching scoop on the headstock, yet no serial number;
2) the to***co burst has the inked on serial number, meaning that it was displayed at the Peavey booth at the 1996 NAMM Show.

We are still trying to gather information on this 1-of-a-kind Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special which surfaced in Europe a few years ago... a special model/finish made for Eddie Van Halen?

Have you ever noticed that you can spot a patent pending Peavey EVH Wolfgang without looking at the back of the headstock?
How?
There is no '®' next to 'EVH' or 'Wolfgang' at least in the first 4500 necks made (the one on the left is precisely #91004500).
