We are an established property care company working out of Troy, looking for several new team members for our crews. Openings include positions on our mowing crews, gardening crew, and general labor needs. We cover the areas of Montgomery, Jay, Troy/N.Troy, Westfield, Newport Center. You can choose to meet either in Troy, or Montgomery 90% of work days. Looking for both part-time & full-time help. We are a fairly laid-back crew that mainly works at Jay skiing and snowboarding in the winter, as our season is April - snowfall. We're not a crew that works in the rain or has mandatory weekends. Long days? Sometimes...gotta make hay when the sun shines, but we try to make things enjoyable and fun. Pay is based on experience, ability to be trained, and time commitment. ($13-$20 +incentives)
MOWING: Ideal candidates will have experience running zero-turn mowers, navigating a vehicle with trailer, proper trimming skills, as well as being timely to work. Must have own transportation. DL is not needed, as crews ride together throughout the work day. Open to train and develop those with little to no experience, but are willing to learn and are motivated.
GARDENING: Ideal candidate will have knowledge of plant species, proper edging & mulching skills, ability to work on their own / run a crew, install & care for new plants in garden beds. Must have own transportation, DL is heavily preferred. Open to training the right person with marginal experience.
LABORER: General labor includes use of hand tools, driving vehicles, delivering materials, shop work, use of power tools, operating equipment, lifting, etc. Ability to operate mini-excavator and tractor a big plus.
Positions may either be exclusive or a blend of all 3. Ideal candidates will be able to move from one to another, but we will be sure to keep you mainly in the area of your choice and strengths.
