Understanding what maintenance plan works for you will save you a ton of time, headaches, and money.

Encroachment is an issue a lot of us deal with in our gardens. Edging is normally the answer, but it’s not always the preference. Here, the client values natural materials and organic integration.

As you can see, the walkway was significantly taken over by the lawn and weeds. We came in and completely freed up the walkway again, and to help prolong the integrity of the walkway/nullify the weeds present, we used a “natural” homemade remedy:

49% vinegar, salt, water, and some dish soap. (Calculate your ratios based on the size of your container.)

This helps dehydrate the weeds and expedite the breakdown of the plants while also prolonging their return, if not eliminating them altogether.

Maintenance is key and delayed maintenance is expensive!
