Congratulations to the Heavy Equipment Operator Training graduates!

On Wednesday, we celebrated the graduation of our first group of Heavy Equipment Operator Workforce trainees. A true partnership effort, the program was developed with the Maine Community College System, Southern Maine Community College, and multiple heavy equipment and earthwork companies across Maine to deliver hands-on training.
Local partners Ranger Contracting and Eagle Rental donated equipment, a lot space, and equipment transportation, ensuring students had experience with a wide range of machinery in a controlled environment.
Each participant graduated with the training hours needed to advance as skilled operators in their companies. The program concluded with a celebratory luncheon and certificates. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!
