On Sunday evenings in March, Topsail Island locals know there are very few dining out options. That's why you and your family can experience a fun spaghetti dinner Southern Roots Grille and feel good about supporting Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area programs for Surf City Middle, Surf City Elementary, Coastal Elementary School, Dixon Elementary School, Dixon Middle School, Onslow County Schools and Pender County Schools. If you didn't know, we recently awarded over $20k in teachers' grants to support innovative learning for the students! Our Kiwanis Club members were out in full force for the Greater Topsail Flotilla & Christmas Market at the Soundside Park in Surf City on Saturday evening. This well attended event was the perfect venue to hawk much appreciated hot chocolate, sell kayak raffle tickets (not too late to get yours) and Christmas wreaths. Members of the Dixon Kiwanis Key Club and the Kiwanis Aktion Club played a big role in sales!

It's that time again! Heading to Autumn With Topsail festivities? Arrive early for the Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser hosted in the Assembly Building on the festival grounds by Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area! Funds raised go directly to the $15k+ annual scholarships for Dixon High School and Boys and Girls Home of Lake Waccamaw.

All proceeds from this Dog Walk fundraiser will stay in our community and support the new Aktion Club sponsored by the
Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area - which is a service organization for adults with disabilities. Diane Pulice Cavanagh is the Aktion Club Kiwanis Advisor and is recruiting for members!

Register your furry pal by May 5, and get a commemorative t-shirt!
Southern Roots Food Truck will be on hand in case you need some energy while watching all the contests after the walk.
