I (Ben Blakely) started my first lawn service with a friend at 12 years old. That quickly grew into a very functional, lucrative business. Since then, I've picked up a wide variety of training and experience through various jobs and hobbies. I've spent more time as a residential roofer than anything else. I roofed during summers as a kid. More recently, I worked my way up from laborer to shingler

to repairman/inspector to sales manager at one of Topeka's most reputable roofing companies. While I consider myself competent and able in many construction fields, roofing is my mainstay. I am tired of seeing sky-high price tags on home improvement and landscaping work. Having worked behind the scenes in multiple large-scale businesses around town, I can vouch for the fact that many companies are price gouging the consumer. In tough economic times, I don't feel this is right. My goal is to provide professional, top quality work at an affordable price. If I put my name on it, I intend for it to be done the right way. If I can't do it or am not comfortable doing it, maybe I can at least point you in the right direction to a reputable contractor who can. I am just tired of the horror stories of people hiring "established" companies to do shoddy, overpriced work. It gives craftsmen a bad name!
