Volt & Vision recently completed a 400 Amp Service Upgrade. It all started with flickering lights in the detached in-law suite/garage. I go out for an evaluation and find some corrosion in the garage panel, but nothing there that was the actual cause. Few days go by and now only half power or a “leg out”. The house has original metering equipment and a rusty disconnect switch, along with double tapped lug’s that fed another separate disconnect for the detached building. So what’s the difference between Volt & Vision, or any other contractor. It’s really just taking the time to listen to the customer, find the right solution, and doing it correctly the first time, it’s going above & beyond and being honest & thorough. We found some other interesting things along the way, like a space heater in a crawl space to prevent pipes from freezing, exposed THHN wires stapled against the wood framing of the main house, that we found out fed a panel that no one knew existed.
