This week Iโ€™ve been thinking about mountains.

Not the kind you hike.

The kind that show up as unfinished projects, family concerns, travel plans, business decisions, and all the things that can feel bigger than we are.

This week a mountain of cedar arrived at the shop.

And it reminded me of a simple truth:

Today I had the privilege of a one-on-one workshop with my friend Cheri.

She brought in a weathered pirate ship wheel that had seen better days and wanted to build a new one from cedar.

Over the course of the day she learned layout techniques, used a miter saw, jigsaw, drill press, router table, sanders, and assembly tools to create a brand-new shipโ€™s wheel from scratch.

The best part wasnโ€™t the finished projectโ€”it was seeing the JOY that comes from learning new skills and creating something with your own hands.

I love custom workshops because every project tells a different story.

One year ago, Sheriโ€™s She Shop was already beginning to grow in my heart and in my hands โ€” but I was still balancing it alongside full-time work, uncertainty, and a whole lot of learning.

This year has stretched me in ways I never expected:

๐ŸŒฟ new skills
๐ŸŒฟ new doors
๐ŸŒฟ deeper faith
๐ŸŒฟ deeper trust in the process

Some days, the growth felt painfully slow.

Other days, it felt like life was moving at fast-forward speed.

But through every step, God has been FAITHFUL.

Todayโ€™s WWTT is less about one specific tool and more about what happens when we stop waiting to feel fully ready and start walking through the doors God opens.
