Yesterday in the shop, I had a plan, the right tool and a project I was determined to move forward. It didn’t quite go that way.

Then this morning, a song lyric, three “D” words and a very vivid dream started connecting some dots.

I’m really looking forward to returning to familiar stomping grounds this Saturday! After spending a number of years teaching at the University of Findlay, it’s especially fun to be back in town—this time with Sheri’s She Shop. ❤️

You can find me at Findlay’s Night Market, where I’ll be sharing handcrafted creations, offering on-site laser personalization with Larry, and maybe even a few surprises for fall.

Most of all, I’d love to see some familiar faces. Please stop by the booth, say hello, and take a moment to browse—I’d truly enjoy catching up and helping you find something special to take home.

Something new is coming Saturday night. 👀🌙 Findlay's Night Market takes place Saturday, August 22 from 6–9 PM in Downtown Findlay, featuring local makers, artists, small businesses, music, interactive experiences and plenty of unique things to discover.

I made a few wooden anchors yesterday while getting ready for upcoming shows. They were simply meant to be something nautical that might catch someone’s eye—but as I held one in my hand, I found myself noticing something more.

This morning, a few seemingly separate threads came together around two words: 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.

Cynthia Schultz came to Sheri’s She Shop with a vision for a special memorial to her mother, Scheran Newell — and it was a privilege to bring it to life.

This handcrafted shadowbox honors Scheran and her service in the U.S. Navy, with personalized details, hidden compartments for keepsakes, and newly added laser engravings of Scheran and the Navy emblem.

𝗠𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲.

This is why I love creating pieces that are about so much more than wood.

’ve been having some fun in the shop creating a collection especially for next Saturday’s Port Clinton Lighthouse & Maritime Festival. Lighthouse coasters, Lake Erie pieces, live-edge wood, and a few one-of-a-kind creations are coming along — and I’ll also have 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 for personalization while you shop. I’m trying very hard not to make 47 of everything before next Saturday. 😂 Come see what makes it into the van!

What they won’t see is everything that comes before the epoxy is ever poured.
