A remodel doesn’t have to completely change the house to completely change how the house feels.

Sometimes it’s the decisions that sound almost boring on paper:

Better flooring.
Fresh paint.
Updated finishes.
More intentional lighting.
Getting rid of the stuff that dates the house by 20 years.

None of those things scream massive renovation.

But put them together?

The whole house feels different.

That’s why we don’t think every renovation needs to be bigger. It just needs to be smarter.

The finished photo is pretty.

But this is the part of renovation we really love.

The part where your house is temporarily green. 😂

New exterior projects don’t magically jump from “before” to beautiful. There’s a whole lot of work hiding underneath that finished siding — and this house got the full treatment before that deep navy exterior ever went on.

Then suddenly…

Same house.
Same character.
Completely different first impression.

Sometimes the update isn’t ripping everything out and starting over.

This staircase already worked. The warm yellow-y oak just didn’t work with the rest of the home anymore.

So instead of replacing perfectly good wood, Luxe refinished it in a deeper, richer tone — and suddenly the whole staircase feels more intentional.

Same staircase. Completely different feel.

That’s the kind of renovation decision we love: knowing what needs to go…and what just needs a damn good update.
