Last week we wrapped up the rough-in portion of an amazing custom home in NE Portland. This home has a lot of unique architectural features and plumbing fixtures. Including wall mounted toilets with in-wall tanks, and wall mounted faucets in all the bathrooms (which as you can see, we didn't know about until halfway through the rough in, which caused us to have to get creative with the venting!). But we roll with the changes and surprises along the way. It's one of the things that goes along with a unique custom project like this. Great job to our Residential crew and I can't wait to se the Finish!
Our commercial crew just finished this interior roof drain system in St. Helens. That's a lot of 6 inch drain pipe! And our guys got it done in record time too. More great work by our professional team.
Passed inspection today on a trench drain installation outside of a commercial space in Clackamas. The parking lot was sloped toward the building and the single catch basin that was there just couldn’t keep up with a hard rain. Water would get into the building during any big storm. Our crew installed this trench drain system with traffic ratted grating and tied it into the existing storm main. Excellent work by our commercial crew!

This week we had the opportunity to do a re-pipe as part of the remodel of a historical home in SW Portland's Goose Hollow area. This included replacement of all the old corroded galvanized pipes with PEX and replacing all the remaining lead drain system with ABS. Here we see Van fitting up some ABS pipe for a toilet fl**ge. Because of the age of the house, this project had some interesting challenges, but our crew got it done and passed inspection today! Great job guys!

Demonstrating the trades to the next generation! Apprentice Plumber Alex demonstrates for over 450 high school students at the ABC Craft Championship today. A wonderful event and great outreach to young people. A lot of kids had fun using the tools and learning about Plumbing Apprenticeship!
