22 years ago, Creekstone Design + Remodel was built on the idea that exceptional remodeling begins with thoughtful design, careful planning, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
For founder John May, that journey started long before Creekstone.
In high school, he spent his free time learning from a remodeler. In college, he channeled his creativity into ambitious dorm room projects (including some custom wainscoting and floating shelf systems that were much harder to remove than they were to install!).
Even while building a successful consulting career and traveling across the country (and around the world), he continued designing and remodeling homes on the side.
Eventually, John decided to fully embrace his true passion. He left consulting to build a company dedicated to helping homeowners transform the way they live.
Today, Creekstone Design + Remodel proudly celebrates 22 years of creating beautiful, functional homes, first in Minneapolis, MN, and now throughout the Portland area.
To every homeowner who has trusted us with your home, every trade partner who’s worked alongside us, and every team member who’s been part of this journey: thank you. Your support has made these last two decades possible, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
