Think a storm hit your roof this year? Here's what to do first, in this order.

1. Write down the storm date. Your insurance company will call it your "date of loss."
2. Take photos from the ground. Please don't climb up there.
3. Check your policy for filing deadlines. They vary by insurer.
4. Get a documented inspection before any repairs, so the damage is on record.

The order matters. Repairs done before the damage is documented can make a claim harder.

Here's an uncomfortable truth about roofing:

Sometimes the right answer is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 replacement.

If a roof can be responsibly repaired and still perform properly, replacement may not be necessary.

That's why Iron Bull's approach starts with inspection and documentation rather than automatically starting with a replacement proposal. The company explicitly says it will tell customers when a roof doesn't need replacing.

Because the best long-term marketing isn't:
