Caring for Mature Live Oaks
Another 5-star Google review we're proud to share!
Phillip A. trusted us with three mature live oaks and highlighted our punctuality, professionalism, quality of work, reasonable pricing, and emphasis on safety.
Mature trees are valuable assets, and we're grateful for every opportunity we're given to care for them properly.
Thank you, Phillip!

A cheaper bid is the most expensive choice. Bad cuts and missed disease cost more than proper work. A certified arborist diagnoses right the first time and prunes to ANSI standards — pay once, not twice.

Our Certified Arborist Robert Swanson (SO-0280A, Texas Oak Wilt Qualified) recently spoke at the Hidden Spring POA quarterly board meeting in Salado.

He covered how to hire an arborist, what separates certified arborists from uncertified ones, and why standards like ANSI A300 (tree care standards) and Z133 (arborist safety standards) matter. Then the floor opened up — and the questions ran for a full hour: oak wilt, pruning, watering, what trees to plant, mulch, and more.

If your HOA, POA, or neighborhood group would like a presentation like this, Robert's glad to do it. Give us a call — (254) 743-9123.

Good pruning isn't about removing as many branches as possible.
Every cut should have a reason—improving structure, removing defects, providing clearance, or reducing specific risks.
We prune according to ANSI A300 industry standards.

Not every tree needs to come down. This live oak was cabled and braced to keep it standing strong for years to come — preservation work by ISA Certified Arborists who know the difference. 🌳

★★★★★ Doing the Job Right
We're grateful for this Google review from James H. after we worked on five large live oaks.
James specifically recognized our methodical approach to safety and felt the quality of the tree care was worth the investment.
Proper tree care takes training, experience, and attention to detail—especially when working with mature trees.
Thank you for the 5-star review, James!

Dead limbs don't always fall right away — but when they do, it's usually during wind or storms. Limbs hanging over your roof, driveway, or play area should come down on your terms, not the storm's. 📞 254-743-9123
