🪴One year of Philpott’s Fine Gardening! 🪴

A year (& a week) ago, I took a leap of faith and chased a dream that had been living in my heart forever — and somehow, that dream became a reality. 💜

I am beyond grateful for every garden, every client, every challenge, every lesson, and every beautiful moment this year has brought. Getting to spend my days creating with flowers and bringing beauty into people’s lives is something I never take for granted.

But the biggest reason I’m celebrating is the incredible team standing beside me. My employees aren’t just employees — they are my support system, my friends, my family, and the reason this company continues to grow. I truly couldn’t imagine doing this without each and every one of you.

I am so proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me, supported this dream, and cheered us on along the way.

One year down… and so much more blooming to come. 🌺

🚨🥶🌼COVER YOUR BABIES!!!!🌼🥶🚨
Cover tender transplants, young seedlings, and blooming fruit trees to protect them from frost. Essential plants to cover include tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, basil, and tender annuals like petunias or impatiens. Also protect early blooming perennials like hostas, azaleas, and strawberries. I will definitely be covering my clematis!

Keep calm, folks. This is fake Spring! 😂

Pennsylvania hit 70° for approximately seven minutes and the entire state immediately lost its mind. Just four weeks ago it was 0° with wind that felt like it came straight off the surface of Pluto, and now people are outside acting like it’s July. Cars are getting washed that haven’t been touched since the Blizzard of ’96, kids are riding bikes in shorts, someone dragged a grill out like it’s the Fourth of July, and at least one guy is sunbathing in a lawn chair like he’s on the Jersey Shore.

Nobody trusts it. Not one person. But every Pennsylvanian knows the rules, when Fake Spring shows up, you drop everything and enjoy it before the state drops 19 inches of snow on us next Tuesday.
