Sometimes a tape measure just isn’t enough. 👇
This cabinet has some pretty unique angles, and I don’t want to find out something is off when it’s time for installation.
So I made a cardboard template directly off the walls, brought it back to the shop, and transferred it onto an 8-foot sheet of Masonite. That lets me lay everything out full scale before I start building.
More work up front? Absolutely.
But that’s a whole lot better than showing up with a cabinet that doesn’t fit.
Measure it. Template it. Build it right.
Follow along — next step is turning this full-scale layout into the actual cabinet.
