Half of a great paint job is what we don’t touch.

Cabinets, tile, floors, fixtures — covered. Baseboards, crown, window details we already finished — covered again. Nobody posts photos of plastic and paper, but the sloppiness is evident when it’s not done right.

Window trim at Pass-a-Grille, finished in Centurion 400 series hard-cure waterborne enamel.

This is a cabinet-grade coating and we put it on trim on purpose. Window trim is eye level and it gets touched constantly — it has to survive contact and still read perfectly under direct inspection.

The tradeoff is that it lays down so fine it hides nothing. Every sanding scratch shows. So the prep underneath has to be finer than standard trim prep, and the spray window is narrower.

To the homeowner it just looks like it should, but underneath the paint was hours and hours of prep.

• Prep first: fill, caulk, sand- inspect after each coat
• Sprayed black doors and casing
• Sanded between coats
• Pull of protection until next visit
Walls aren’t painted yet — trim and doors go first so wall touch-ups can clean up any overspray and new drywall patches at the end.

Interior primer & first coat day 🏠

Our process on every new construction build:

✅ Dry mop walls to remove drywall dust
✅ Mask all windows & electrical openings
✅ Apply heavy coat of primer
✅ Pole sand at 180 grit
✅ Spray + back-roll ceilings — 2 full coats
✅ First coat on walls

No shortcuts. This is what sets the job up for success for later on in the build.
