Mission Statement:
”Operation Northern Comfort is a volunteer, non-profit organization based in Central New York. ONC provides labor and resources for construction and repair to improve the living environments of people in need.”
Operation Northern Comfort has no paid staff and welcomes volunteers of all skill and experience level; no job is ever too small. Bringing together college campuses, church communities, residents, local businesses and schools with a common goal to serve those in need, Operation Northern Comfort is a promise of hope for the future. Judy's husband suffers from Alzheimers and has severe balance problems. As primary caregiver, she had a need for a ramp to transport him to doctor appointments. Judy was unable to afford the cost of a rented ramp, and through the help of several friends, she learned of Operation Northern Comfort.
