Mitre folding floating shelving for a few projects. Each side of the shelving is a separate piece, cut precisely and edge glued, to create the illusion of a large slab of wood.

More to come, but here is where the hot tub room is now. Still have windows to install when the weather breaks.

I think this is a great example of how important it is to think outside of the box sometimes. The work environment was was very tight and difficult to work around. We came up with the idea to make wall templates and precut every piece at the shop to limit our footprints in the room. A big risk on our part, but I think if you really care about your work, and are diligent in your planning, you get the pictured result. Pretty proud of our team!

8/4 poplar from the Kirkland sawmill, supported by arts and crafts style corbels, angle brackets, and lag screwed into each stud will ensure this shelving unit not only stays on the wall, but also won’t sag due to the heavy weight.

Here is our most recent addition, a three season room with a three tiered composite deck. Pickled knotty pine was the interior choice yet again!
