A couple months ago I closed in a screened in porch with a big four panel glider. This weekend we insulated the floor and closed it up. I’m loving how this project turned out.

Two more storm doors installed this morning. The first is an Andersen 3000 series full view and the second is an Andersen 4000 series with retractable screen.

Meet the Andersen 4000 series full view storm door. This storm door beats the socks off of most of the other storm doors on the market. We have a lot of issues down here with the wind catching a storm door and bending or tearing the closing piston clean off the door. This door has a much better designed closing system and is built much sturdier than most. They have color options and very nice handle set options as well. Making progress. Patched some holes, caulked some windows, painted some walls and installed some flooring.

This exterior door was rotted through to where you could see daylight from the inside. We removed the old door and replaced it with a new one. She’s set and ready for paint.

I wish I would have taken a before picture on this room. There were a ton of holes in the walls, the carpet had been peed on about a thousand times by the animals that lived there and when I pulled them up there was a ton of cockroach p**p underneath. This is fresh new look and it smells 100% better in there. 🤩
