There’s just something about the morning light hitting all the little green babies around the house. Every corner has its own vibe, and honestly, these plant shelves are my happy place. 🪴💚

The best news? The shelves are getting EMPTY! 🙌 That means so many plants have found new homes this week, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support you all have shown Pots and Prayers.

If there’s a specific plant you’ve been looking for, now is the time to send me your requests! 🌱 Whether it’s a pothos, hoya, philodendron, or something a little more uncommon, I’m taking requests as I restock.

Such a great message from Tanner The Planter.

Society has added so much pressure in all aspects of our lives, including gauging your abilities as a human to keep exotic plants alive indoors, in foreign environments under completely different conditions than what we deem as comfortable.

Stop the stress and remember that houseplants are for adding enjoyment, NOT STRESS! Yes, we have thriving plants. But yes, I have changed my living environment to accommodate my plants too. And even more HELL YES, I have nurtured my plants through hospice and into the great compost bin in the sky.

Have fun. Play in the dirt. Overwater. Throw away. That’s why we are here with replacements!!

Rebel is the ultimate hydroponic queen. Since she is prepping for her big move, I am fostering her royal plant kingdom! No pressure, right? Just please pray I don't kill them! If you are new to water plants, here is why they beat soil:

It started as just a tiny corm, hidden away in the dark. I watched over it, hoped for it, and waited.

Today, that patience paid off with two beautiful new leaves.Seeing this Alocasia Simpo Albo baby grow from a tiny seed-like corm into its own little plant is so special. It is amazing how much life can come from such a small beginning. My plant heart is so full seeing this new growth today.

We will be looking for a wonderful new home for this little one soon. Slide these photos over to see the beautiful mother plant that started it all.

Who says you need a massive backyard to be a garden guru? Pots and Prayers is proof that a little bit of soil and a whole lot of faith can turn even the smallest patio into a grocery aisle. Our outdoor micro garden is officially showing off! Check out this week’s first harvest:

Basil (ready for pesto)
Tomatoes (juicy and sweet)
Cucumbers (crisp and cool)
Zucchini (growing like crazy)
2 Baby Strawberries (yes, exactly two—please do not fight over them)

The saga of Fiddle Leaf Bitch continues.

She threw a tantrum that lasted 28 business days, but look who decided to rejoin society. Three brand new leaves.
Apparently, she just needed to make me question my life choices first. Adjusting well, pushing out growth, and still absolute royalty.
