This is one of my favorite photos. I used to stare at this poster/painting when I was a kid. When Paul Wenzel, my boss at Disney, told me he painted it, I completely geeked out!! Here it is with our replica mask.

Lynne has great memories of meeting Bob Mackie during her time in fashion design school in L.A.. Rest well you talented man...

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Mr. Bob Mackie passed away today. He lived his 87 years to the fullest, fulfilling his dream of being a Fashion and Costume Designer, which is all he ever wanted to do. His genius and extraordinary designs will live on forever, continuing to bring beauty into this world.

The fiberglass shell under the cowl cover... It was continually tweaked during the show to allow better ventilation and comfort to Adam West.
These three show a range in the face cut out and ventilation. The one on the right has a hard hat rig installed and a gazillion tiny holes drilled as vents.
The one on the far left is from the second season and is the style Adam used after the show with a straighter cut across the face. The one in the center is from the first season and into the movie/second season. They had foam inside covered in chamois. Very little air movement...

Gotta keep the Bat Dummy Locker full!! A touch up on the mannequin head and a painted bust headed to the far east! Painting is a lot more stressful than sculpting for me...

These are printed paper patterns drafted by Lynne Williams, a trained patternmaker and printed at McCall's, the company that sells sewing patterns you see in stores!

For the first time they are available separately or as a pair.

We only have a few that we found from the first and only print run we did years ago so do not hesitate. Once they are gone, they are gone...
